Van/Bus Driver

If you are looking for a stimulating position working with children and families, this may be the right fit for you. We are looking for a quality individual to transport children and staff to schools, field trips, and other locations as approved by the A Brighter Day Quality Learning Center Director. Responsibilities include: |
- Providing quality and safe transportation for children and staff.
- Providing care, support, direction, and supervision to children
- Keeping the Director informed of any necessary information regarding the care and safety of children
- Completing timely and accurate documentation according to ABDQLC and other licensing or regulation requirements.
- Assists and accepts responsibility in other daily center duties that might be temporary in the event other personnel are not available
- May be required to transport center vehicle for servicing (oil change, state inspections, etc.
- Attends and participates in all staff meetings, center events, and parent meetings as requested
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately if an emergency situation required
- Ability to be flexible in assignment and work hours required

| Qualifications: |
|
- High School Diploma, Associates degree preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
- Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills required
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Current driver’s license required with no more than 3 moving violations in past three years (no alcohol or drug related convictions)
